*************************
Hello Friends,
Thank you for joining me for last night's teaching on PalTalk, Seeing my
brother's innocence, which is also mine. I had a great time.
It's funny . . . as I was listening to Nicole close out Tainter's Anonymous
and looking at what I was about to teach, I thought, "I've got nothing here."
I thought it was going to be a rather ho-hum teaching experience. So, I closed
my eyes and said a quick little prayer that went something like this:
Holy Spirit, All I ask is that you teach
so I learn.
I ask nothing else.
It seems my prayer was answered. Last night was anything BUT ho-hum. It seems
that when we lay our-self aside and let the Holy Spirit come through . . .
well, I don't seem to have words to finish this sentence. I only have a
feeling of gratitude. I know that those of you who were there understand.
Anyway, I made a few promises last night and I am here to keep them now. I
promised to post all three versions of the "tiny, mad idea" story, which HS
has shared with me. I mentioned that I learned something different from each
of the versions. I also promised to share links to all of the writings that I
read last night. I will keep all of these promises in the next three emails.
I love you. See you tonight.
Regina
Exceprt from the Holy Spirit's
interpretation of Luke 21:
(tiny mad idea story, version 1)
We have spoken of the mind that must be
shared, which you believe you have taken for yourself. This mind, you believe
you have stolen from God. You must know this: It is impossible to steal this
mind from God, because this mind is God, and God cannot be stolen from
Itself.
How is it that you think you have stolen
this mind? The mind that is God is what it is, and it cannot be changed. But
you, as one with this mind, had a wish that it could be different. Within the
freedom granted by being of mind, you began to make your wish fulfilled. There
is nothing wrong with this exploration of thought in which you chose to
engage, except the error in which you believed that your thought could not
live if it was shared. In this error, you developed your first misperception
of yourself. For in this error, you created the belief that you could be
separate from God. Then, you judged yourself for what you thought you did, and
you found yourself guilty of disrupting the existence of the truth that is
God.
“Disrupting” is an appropriate word
here, because God, as best as it can be described, is sharing the existence
of Love. By choosing that God be something different, you had to decide
that it must be that it could not be shared, and to not be shared must
be a “disruption” of that which is shared.
This seemed to be the creation of a
private mind with private thought and its own private abilities. But since you
saw this as a disruption that destroyed the essence of what God is, you saw
this as a sin and judged yourself as guilty. What could come of such judgment
except fear?
Now, take a moment to accept all that I
am telling you, even if you cannot understand it. I am telling you this:
The Spirit of God is one. Nothing exists
that is not within the Spirit of God. You exist, and so you must be within the
Spirit of God. That which is within the Spirit of God is the Spirit of
God. Therefore, you cannot be separate from the Spirit of God. But, you have
believed that you are separate from the Spirit of God, a separate entity with
private thoughts that are not shared. And for these thoughts, of which you
believe you are responsible, you have judged yourself as guilty. And yet,
there must be something within you that does not believe these thoughts are
private, because you also believe you will suffer for having these thoughts,
which means you know they are shared. And this seeming conflict is the basis
of your fear.
Let’s look at this more slowly and once
again, for there is an inconsistency here that you must see and recognize if
you are to let go of fear. The inconsistency is this:
You believe, “I have a private mind with
private thoughts, which are mine alone, which must mean that I am guilty of
disrupting the sharing that is God.”
And you also believe, “This error I have
made is seen by God, because I know that thought cannot not be shared. I
expect and fear punishment for all I have done.”
And there, within your own thought and
belief is the insane idea that maintains your fear, and yet this thought can
never be true. For if you were guilty of making a mind that disrupted the flow
of the mind of God, that mind would be private and it would not be shared.
Therefore, God could not seek to punish you, because God would not be aware.
What is the truth of all your thoughts
and beliefs? The truth is that they are based on a premise, a premise of
separation, which cannot be true. Since they are based on a premise that
cannot be true, your thoughts in themselves cannot be true either. This means
there is no guilt, and there can be nothing to fear.

Excerpt from the Holy Spirit's
interpretation of Acts 10:
("tiny mad idea" story, version
2)
Each of your brothers is one with you.
Therefore, each of your brothers has one purpose, and that is the purpose
given him within the mind.
There seems to be two purposes, when in
truth there is only one. There was a purpose, an ancient one, which only
lasted an instant. In the instant that purpose was made, another was placed
beside it as its correction. In the instant the correction was accepted,
correction became the only purpose. Any other purpose that seems to be is a
residual of a purpose that was for an instant, and then it passed.
Remember that I have told you there is
no past. The past does not exist now. It is only a memory of something that
was, but what was isn’t now.
The Holy Spirit is the purpose of now.
The purpose of now is the joining of that which seemed to be made separate by
the purpose that was, but isn’t anymore.
This is important for you to accept, so
let’s look at this so you may see. The purpose that was was the purpose
that you could be separate from God in order to be different. This is the
purpose I explained to you before. This is the purpose that led you to believe
that you had stolen yourself from God.
In the beginning, which has no beginning
at all, there was God. And God is all there is today. But the existence of God
sought a freedom that was different than the freedom it had known. Of course,
what freedom could be different from freedom? When freedom is free, as your
freedom is, nothing can be different but the illusion of not being free.
Opposites were made from a state of
freedom, that freedom may be expressed, because it is free. This is the
expression of you. You are an expression of freedom. The brothers you
experience are an expression of freedom too.
Since freedom is all that was given you,
freedom is all that you are. But that expression has been used to make
something different from that which it is. And so, the expression of freedom
made lack of freedom. This is also the expression that you are.
You seem to be the lack of freedom when
freedom is what you are, so the lack that you experience is an expression of
the freedom that you are. But all of this you have forgotten, for you chose to
forget it when you chose an experience different than the experience that you
know.
The Holy Spirit is the memory of the
experience you know, which is the truth of your freedom and the truth of you
now. In your true desire to be only free, this truth has been accepted. So the
purpose of freedom, which is the purpose of the Holy Spirit, is the only
purpose now.
Within you is true purpose. Within
you is the Holy Spirit. But to remember the true purpose that you chose to
forget, you must follow your purpose back to where you are. This is the path
of joining by letting go of false purposes, founded in the search for
falseness, and returning to true purpose, which is the only purpose now.
(verses 27 – 29)
This brings us back to the story of your
willingness. Since in truth you are the expression of pure freedom, nothing
can be given you except you are wholly willing to accept it. For if that were
not true, you would not be free.
Continue the nursing of your
willingness that you may ask for in your freedom that which you truly
desire, which is to remember the reality of the truth that you are free.
(verses 30 – 33)
The story of the world is the
story of the expression of freedom. Within this story one must also see the
willingness that the expression know itself as free. Freedom is available to
you, because freedom is all there really is. Accept this truth and join with
the Holy Spirit within you. He will guide you back through your willingness
to the remembrance of the freedom that is you.
(verses 34 – 48)

Hi EveryOne,
Here are links to the writings that I read from last night:
http://www.forholyspirit.org/romans.htm - Chapters 1 - 3 are "tiny mad
idea" story, version 3. I read an excerpt from chapter 2 last night. This is
where our reference to "option A" (Holy Spirit, nothing has happened) and
"option B" (ego, something real has happened) came from.
http://www.forholyspirit.org/ephesians.htm - I read excerpts from chapters
1, 2, 3 & 4 last night. I was writing the Holy Spirit's interpretation of
Ephesians when I had my "Helen Keller moment at the well." In that moment, I
realized that we are one,
even within the illusion.
http://reginadawnakers.com/?p=462 -
As I read this last night, we began to see that Communication is all that is
and Communication is shared, because we are one. Pikes Peak is not a mountain,
it is Communication. And we smiled as we realized that God
is in the
wastebasket. (reference to workbook lesson 29)
http://reginadawnakers.com/?p=434 -
Through this forgiveness opportunity, we see that listening to the ego and
acting on ego thoughts is "innocently believing and acting out" thoughts that
are in the one mind, of which we are a part.
http://reginadawnakers.com/?p=436 -
Through this analogy of our oneness as a machine, we see clearly that our
brother is innocent. We also see that as miracle workers, we can help everyone
by answering the call for love through forgiveness.
ACIM Text 5.IV.1.9-11 - Through these sentences within ACIM, we see that our
salvation is our oneness. As more and more people choose to become miracle
workers, more and more light shines within our mind. This will eventually
cause a snowball effect, which will seem to grow in rapidity. Since we are all
one, we actually save the world through choosing to accept the atonement "for
myself." How perfect is that!
By the way, if anyone has the Scott Kalechstein CD called Putting the
Pieces Together, try listening to track 9. I was planning to play it last
night, but ran out of time. It is the perfect closing to the learning we did
together. The chorus goes like this:
I'm a friend of the plan of Love.
I'm a friend of the plan, the plan of Love.
Welcome in to the land of Love.
Welcome in to the land of Love.
With Love,
Regina
