"Enlightenment is But a Recognition "
Are we waiting
for something different to happen, or are we willing
to recognize our enlightenment NOW. A Course In
Miracles asks, "Why wait for Heaven?
Those who seek the light are merely covering their
eyes. The light is in them now. Enlightenment is but a
recognition, not a change at all." (Wk.Or.Ed.188)
We don't have to
pretend our lives are any "better" than they seem nor
do we have to deny any problems or limitations that we
appear to have. We only need to look at our apparent
problems from a different point of view.
"Do not despair, then, because
of limitations. It is your function to escape from
them, but not to be without them."
Rev. Tony Ponticello is the cofounder
of the Community Miracles Center in San Francisco, CA.
The CMC has been a major ACIM based organization since
1987. Rev. Tony is the Web Master of the CMC's ACIM
based web site, an author and editor of their
publication Miracles Monthly, and has been teaching
ACIM classes for 25 years.
He also recently published his first
