As an active Raku Kei
Reiki healer, you can assist those afflicted with disease of the mind and body
without being in the actual presence of the body. You can assist those in the
physical plane as well as those in the non-physical planes. (You can assist
those in different times, as well.)
In order to effect healing
at the level of mind, body and spirit, it is necessary to establish a bond which
will remain unaffected by disorientation factors inherent in the non-physical
world. To help in this, you might want to obtain a recent photograph of the
person and know their name and location at the time of the healing. Distant
healing can happen without these things but is much more effective with them.
While you would use the
photo to make initial contact, the life energy is actually directed toward the
recipient in spiritual form. Definite sensations and perception changes are
associated with the bonding process. Should loss of bonding occur, it can be
tangibly felt by the healer; one reason for this would indicate that the
recipient is no longer on the Earth plane.
The signals you get from
the bonding process are very personal and can be your touchstone (or bench mark)
in your distant healing work. Some of the signals reported are:
a tingle at the back
of the neck
a slight feeling of
vertigo, as if the room tilted
hearing and visual
perception greatly enhanced
an uncanny feeling of
quiet during the healing, as if everything outside had come to a complete
stop
a funny feeling in the
gut or in the top of the head, as if they opened up
hearing for miles and
the sense of seeing through walls
These and other signals
tell us that we are in strong communication with the recipient. This phenomenon
is called, “resonance,” similar to tuning forks vibrating in resonance with one
another. You may, if you want to during this process, speak out loud or play
music so the sound can also add its healing vibration.
Recommend Procedure
for Distant Healing
Set aside 15 to 30
minutes for your distant healing. Take the phone off the hook and do whatever
you need to do to make a healing space. Some people like elaborate
preparations like candles and incense; others need nothing at all. Be your own
judge.
Place your hands in
front of you about 6 inches apart, palms facing each other.
Visualize the person’s
head (particularly the forehead) between your hands.
Take one hand and trace
the distant healing symbol onto the person’s forehead. The distant symbol is
one in four parts:
Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen
Choku Rei
Se He Kei
Choku Rei
What is occurring in the
distant healing key (Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen) and the psychological symbol (Se he
Kei) are being empowered by the Choku Rei (empowerment symbol).
At this point, you make
a choice: either (1) continue seeing the person’s head or body between your
hands and treat this way or (2) use a part of your body (usually the leg) to
represent this person’s body and move your hands across your leg as you would
treat in person. Example, the knee is the head, thigh is torso; upper part of
thigh is the legs.
Treat the person in the
way chosen for 15 to 30 minutes, or whatever seems appropriate.
Close with a short
Prayer, such as, ”I wish this effort to be used for the benefit of all beings
everywhere, and I wish you well.”

really real"
WandaWishes: I asked H.S. for confirmation that what i was doing was real
WandaWishes: One night I picked up two burner covers from my stove not
WandaWishes: knowing that the stove was on under them
WandaWishes: three of my fingers were burned badly
WandaWishes: I thought I will not be able to work like this a
WandaWishes: and I didn't want to call in sick for the next morning
WandaWishes: so I got ice water and put my fingers in
WandaWishes: and started Reiki on my hand
WandaWishes: I thought this is either real and will heal my fingers
WandaWishes: or it is not and nothing will happen
WandaWishes: I did Reiki for 6 hours
WandaWishes: then went to bed my fingers were still burned and hurting
WandaWishes: then
WandaWishes: when I woke up in the morning My fingers were healed

blockage and was going to have
surgery... On sat night I had reiki... and on sunday I had reiki
