This is going to expose ego big time.  So expect it to squirm a lot.

What I’m going to do this afternoon is allow the Holy Spirit to introduce such a radically liberating awareness that at first you’re going to think that it will simply be impossible for you to accept it, even though your acceptance of it would place you on the brink of being fully awake.  But over the next couple of hours you’ll experience the Holy Spirit guide you through a gentle yet amazing journey that will gradually melt your resistance and bring you closer to accepting this radical awareness than you would have ever thought would be possible.

The truth is that God is all there is.  If we knew this with absolute certainty, we would never experience anything else.

What happens if we’re not certain that God is all there is?  Well, then we think that it’s possible that there might be stuff other than God, contrary to God.  So what happens then?  all manner of illusions appear:  Oneness splinters into separation, good mutates into evil, entirety degrades into fragmentation, totality collapses into lack, completeness turns into disintegration, wholeness declines into disease, love twists into hate, harmony flips into disharmony, joy alternates with sadness, perfection gives way to endless flaws, purity becomes debauchery, grace is obscured by cynicism, innocence is bludgeoned by guilt, absoluteness becomes partial and relative, peace is swallowed up by war, infinity lapses into limitation, abundance declines into poverty, omnipresence becomes local and small, omniscience shrivels into ignorance, awareness becomes unconscious, omnipotence deflates into impotence, omniaction declines into lethargy and eternality turns into mortality --- and all because we’re not really sure that God is all there is.

If we were absolutely certain that God is All there is, there would never be an accident, war, earthquake, tornado, violence heart trouble, tumor, cancer, palsy, epilepsy, colds, sickness, disease hatred, fear, criticism, resentment, rebellion, worry, sin, erroneous belief, dream, ego, mortal mind, or illusion. There would just be God.

T-14.II.8. 3 The vision of Christ is given the very instant that it is perceived. 4 Where everything is clear, it is all holy. 5 The quietness of its simplicity is so compelling that you will realize it is impossible to deny the simple truth. 6 For there is nothing else. 7 God is everywhere, and His Son is in Him with everything.

T-11.V.1. 4 Let us be very calm in doing this, for we are merely looking honestly for truth.

T-21.II.7. All that is asked of you is to make room for truth.

T-7.IV.1.  Truth can only <be> recognized and <need> only be recognized

Whenever your ego squirms, disregard it.  The one thing the ego has no defense against is disregard.

1. Guess what.  There is no way that we cannot be certain that God is all there is.  Because God is all there is anyway no matter what.  And if God is all there is, then he’s the only mind there is and how can he be uncertain that he is all.  Notice your ego squirm.

2. We’ll be unfolding understanding.

T-9.V.6. Healing is not mysterious. 5 Nothing will change unless it is understood, since light <is> understanding

T-14.VIII.4. There is no substitute for truth. 2 And truth will make this plain to you as you are brought into the place where you must meet with truth. 3 And there you must be led, through gentle understanding which can lead you nowhere else.  Gentle understanding and quiet simplicity.

There will be no fear involved.

T-14.VI.1. The journey that we undertake together is the exchange of dark for light, of ignorance for understanding. 2 Nothing you understand is fearful. 3 It is only in darkness and in ignorance that you perceive the frightening, and shrink away from it to further darkness.

3. We’re already in Heaven. Nothing contaminates heaven but belief in error, nothing makes possible belief in error but ignorance, nothing dissolves ignorance but understanding, nothing evokes understanding but clarity, and nothing provides clarity but the illumination shining in the self-evidence of Truth.   If Truth were not self-evident, it could not be understood, and if Truth could not be understood, there would only be ignorance.

4. How we’ve trained ourselves not to recognize Truth, and how that’s keeping us stuck.

T-7.XI.5. 7 Nothing is so easy to recognize as truth. 8 This is the recognition that is immediate, clear and natural. 9 You have trained yourself not to recognize it, and this has been very difficult for you.

We trained ourselves not to recognize Truth so that we could believe the tiny mad idea that we separated from God.  The illusion of being separate from God necessarily made us contrary to God, thereby giving us an experience that was contrary to God’s nature, the erroneous nature of which we couldn’t recognize because we had trained ourselves not to recognize Truth.  So we thought our experience contrary to God’s nature was Truth, and believed it.  Belief begat experience begat belief begat experience etc., etc

But here now is where we need to perceive something with the Vision of Christ; something as earth-shattering as it is simple.

T-14.II.8. 3 The vision of Christ is given the very instant that it is perceived. 4 Where everything is clear, it is all holy. 5 The quietness of its simplicity is so compelling that you will realize it is impossible to deny the simple truth. 6 For there is nothing else. 7 God is everywhere, and His Son is in Him with everything.

There was never a tiny mad idea, never even an illusion of being separate from God.  To say that the separation never happened but to believe that an illusion of separation occurred because of an erroneous belief in separation ushers in all the devastation of an actual separation, not in actuality, but in the form of a vivid illusion of pure hell. But the vision of Christ sees as God sees and God sees the simple truth that God could never have an erroneous belief that He could separate from Himself thereby making the devastating illusion of that illusory separation. And being impossible for God is was impossible for us because we are absolutely One with God.   The very instant that this is perceived, The vision of Christ is given, the vision that sees that only God could ever be and never, never, never anything else whatsoever; and thus the axe is thrust into the very root of the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil, and the entire illusion of devastation vanishes into the nothingness it always was just as the nothingness of darkness vanishes when light appears.

T-14.II.8. 3 The vision of Christ is given the very instant that it is perceived. 4 Where everything is clear, it is all holy. 5 The quietness of its simplicity is so compelling that you will realize it is impossible to deny the simple truth. 6 For there is nothing else. 7 God is everywhere, and His Son is in Him with everything.

The earth was never flat – it never happened.  Train tracks have never converged in the distance – it’s never happened.  The sky has never touched the horizon – it’s never happened.  The magician never sawed the lady in half – it’s never happened.  Matter has never existed – it’s never happened.  Nothing has ever been separate from God – it’s never happened.

All the suffering, pain, sickness, fear, attack, catastrophe, devastation, attack, war and death that you think has happened and is still possible, has never happened and is impossible, because all of that is not Truth, and not Truth is nothing, and nothing simply can’t happen.

But we’re so convinced that we’ve experienced what never happened that we’re absolutely committed to believing in it and experiencing it again even though it’s pure hell.   It’s like being absolutely committed to believing the magician sawed the lady in half because we saw it with our own eyes.

5. The separation never happened because it can’t happen.  Because God is perfect infinite Mind it’s impossible for that mind to ever have even a tiny mad idea or illusion of separation.  And every single one of us was then and are now the same perfect, infinite Mind that God is, so the mad idea couldn’t have occurred to any of us either.

There is no origin to error because there can’t be an origin of nothing.

T-3.IV.6 Light abolishes darkness merely by showing you it is not there.  Darkness never happens because it’s nothing and if nothing happens then nothing has happened.  Truth will always overcome error in this way.

W-pI.107.1 Where truth has entered errors disappear.  They merely vanish, leaving not a trace by which to be remembered.  And so they disappear to nothingness, returning whence they came.

T-3.II.3. 5 If nothing but the truth exists, right-minded seeing cannot see anything but perfection.  And if nothing but the Truth exists, there can’t be anything but right-minded seeing.

So the earth-shattering thing I’m asking you to realize and accept is that you have never, ever experienced even so much as an illusion of anything other than God, because you’ve always be absolutely one with God and God has always been absolutely all there is.  And the vaporization of your memory of it in face of your perception of God’s Allness with the vision of Christ transcends time and annihilates the past that gave rise to the memory.  Because God transcends time, no illusion ever happened in the Mind of God, including the illusion of time itself.  Another way to look at this is that Infinite Beingness’ infinity utterly crowds out any possibility of illusion and we’re perplexed only because infinite beingness is incomprehensible to all save itself.

But we are infinite beingness.  The solution to this dilemma is, again, the vision of Christ.  The dilemma is due to our having faith in nothing.  The resolution of the dilemma is to give that up and replace it with the vision of Christ.

T-14.II.8. 3 The vision of Christ is given the very instant that it is perceived. 4 Where everything is clear, it is all holy. 5 The quietness of its simplicity is so compelling that you will realize it is impossible to deny the simple truth. 6 For there is nothing else. 7 God is everywhere, and His Son is in Him with everything.

You surrender your faith in nothing for your perception of Truth.

Yet our faith in nothing is so strong that we still can’t believe that our illusions never even happened.  Be patient and gentle with yourself about this.  I said this is earth shattering.  It will shatter the earth.  When this becomes clear to you, when this is perceived, in that very instant you will be given the vision of Christ, you will be awake, you will be and see the Presence of God.

T-11.V.1. 4 Let us be very calm in doing this, for we are merely looking honestly for truth.

T-14.II.8. 3 The vision of Christ is given the very instant that it is perceived. 4 Where everything is clear, it is all holy. 5 The quietness of its simplicity is so compelling that you will realize it is impossible to deny the simple truth. 6 For there is nothing else. 7 God is everywhere, and His Son is in Him with everything.

What is the simple Truth?  That Truth is all there is.  And there is no illusion in Truth.  And so there never was any illusions.  To think that’s not true is to believe that something not true is true.

T-14.II.2 The Holy Spirit, begins His lesson in simplicity with the fundamental teaching that <truth> is true. 2 This is the hardest lesson you will ever learn, and in the end the only one. 3 Simplicity is very difficult for twisted minds. 4 Consider all the distortions you have made of nothing; all the strange forms and feelings and actions and reactions that you have woven out of it. 5 Nothing is so alien to you as the simple truth, and nothing are you less inclined to listen to. 6The contrast between what is true and what is not is perfectly apparent, yet you do not see it.

But ask yourself these questions:  What impresses you more, the Allness of God, or a contrary illusion of devastation.  Both are not possible.  If the price of entering Heaven was your admission that your experience of anything else never happened, would your conviction that you did have such an experience keep you out of Heaven?  Doesn’t it make more sense to possibly have been mistaken about having experienced illusions, than to be convinced that you experienced them?

For now, just consider the possibility that nothing but the absolute purity of God ever can happen even as mere illusion.    For now, just consider the possibility, while the Holy Spirit now continues to unfold the simple Truth and expose the nothingness of nothing.

Chapter 14.

TEACHING FOR TRUTH

Introduction

T-14.II.3. 2 To those unhappy learners who would teach themselves nothing, and delude themselves into believing that it is not nothing, the Holy Spirit says, with steadfast quietness:  3 The truth is true. 4 Nothing else matters, nothing else is real, and everything beside it is not there. 5 Let Me make the one distinction for you that you cannot make, but need to learn. 6 Your faith in nothing is deceiving you. 7 Offer your faith to Me, and I will place it gently in the holy place where it belongs. 8 You will find no deception there, but only the simple truth. 9 And you will love it because you will understand it.

T-14.II.7. 3 For truth <is> true. 4 What else could ever be, or ever was? 5 This simple lesson holds the key to the dark door that you believe is locked forever. 6 You made this door of nothing, and behind it <is> nothing. 7 The key is only the light that shines away the shapes and forms and fears of nothing. 8 Accept this key to freedom from the hands of Christ Who gives it to you, that you may join Him in the holy task of bringing light. 9 For, like your brothers, you do not realize the light has come and freed you from the sleep of darkness.

T-14.II.6. If you would be a happy learner, you must give everything you have learned to the Holy Spirit, to be unlearned for you. 2 And then begin to learn the joyous lessons that come quickly on the firm foundation that truth is true. 3 For what is builded there <is> true, and built on truth. 4 The universe of learning will open up before you in all its gracious simplicity. 5 With truth before you, you will not look back.

T-14.in.1. 4 The Holy Spirit uses logic as easily and as well as does the ego, except that His conclusions are not insane. 8 Let us now follow the simple logic by which the Holy Spirit teaches the simple conclusions that speak for truth, and only truth.

W-pI.152.3. Salvation is the recognition that the truth is true, and nothing else is true.   Truth cannot have an opposite.  This cannot be too often said and thought about.  Nothing but the truth is true, and what is false is false.

“Truth is true” and “nothing else is true” are clear and certain major and minor premises of a syllogism that leads with absolute certainty to the most important conclusion there is.  Please take a brief moment to study it until it’s certainty is clear:

Major Premise:  Truth is true,

Minor Premise:  Nothing else is true,

Conclusion:  Therefore, Truth is all there is.

Notice that you can be absolutely certain that Truth is all there is.  Your ability to abolish illusions will be in direct proportion to that certainty.

If the reasoning is now expanded to reveal the attributes of Truth, clarity and certainty can be maintained if the conclusion of each syllogism is used as the major premise of the next syllogism.  In each syllogism, the minor premise expands the meaning of each attribute:

Truth is All,
All is entire,
Therefore Truth is entire

Truth is entire,
Entire is total,
Therefore Truth is total

Truth is total,
Total is complete,
Therefore Truth is complete

Truth is complete,
Complete is whole,
Therefore Truth is whole

Truth is whole,
Whole is one,
Therefore Truth is one

Truth is one,
Oneness is Love,
Therefore Truth is Love

Truth is Love,
Love is harmony,
Therefore Truth is harmony

Truth is harmony,
Harmony is perfection,
Therefore Truth is perfection

Truth is perfection,
Perfection is absoluteness,
Therefore Truth is absolute

Truth is absolute,
Absolute is infinite,
Therefore Truth is infinite

Purity, innocence, joy, freedom, happiness, peace, light, omniscience, omnipresence, omnipotence, and so forth

(more attributes can be included)

So therefore Truth is all, entire, total, complete, whole, one, Love, harmony, perfection, absolute and infinite.

Now, since Truth is all there is, you can’t be outside of Truth, but neither can your illusions about yourself be included in Truth.  So we must include only the Truth about you.  Everything else you believe about yourself may be illusory, but you can be absolutely certain that you exist as awareness, or else you wouldn’t be aware of Truth.

So you as awareness must exist
And since Truth is all there is,
You as awareness must therefore be Truth.

So Truth You being all, entire, total, complete, whole, one, Love, harmony, perfection, innocence, absolute, infinite Awareness.

So therefore you must be the Presence of God, and the embodiment of all the attributes of Truth.

T-9.VII.8. 4 The truth about you is so lofty that nothing unworthy of God is worthy of you.

Turn absolutely and completely away from all belief that he is other than the one, perfect, All-knowing, Infinite Awareness now.

The need is for one to become aware of the Truth, aware that he is the Self, and that there is nothing in or of him that can be anything else!

Truth, Reality, Perfection of Mind, thought and body, are present, intact, at hand, here and now; and besides this Omnipresence there is nothing else. Therefore, Infinite Understanding fills us now. This very Self, yourself and myself, is discovered to be the God-Self, All-knowing, All-sufficing, All-acting, Supreme and Absolute.

Only in and as the Truth do we learn and know the Truth, --- a Knowledge which comes not from books.  Identification with the One is known only in the actual experience thereof.

T-14.III.7 Teach him that, whatever he may try to do to you, your perfect freedom from the belief that you can be harmed shows him that he is guiltless. 4 He can do nothing that can hurt you, and by refusing to allow him to think he can, you teach him that the Atonement, which you have accepted for yourself, is also his 9 Fail not the only purpose to which my teaching calls you. 10 Restore to God His Son as He created him, by teaching him his innocence

You must utterly immerse yourself in the Truth until the Truth has it’s way with you.  Don’t just think the Truth, feel it as well. Feel what it feels like for Truth, God, Love and Perfection to be all there is.  Surrendering to Truth is actually surrendering to God because God is Truth.  Surrendering to God means surrendering everything you believe that’s contrary to Truth, to be consumed by the certain Allness of Truth, the certain Allness of God.

It takes less than a minute to review how clear and simple all this really is.  Truth is True, Nothing else is True, and just isn’t there.  So Truth is all there is.  And that’s God.  Nothing can be more certain than the fact that it’s totally impossible for there to ever be anything separate from God; not you, not anyone, not anything, not now, not ever, not here, not anywhere.

That’s it.  That’s the whole Truth.

All decisions you make are either decisions you make for God, as the Presence of God, or decisions you make for an illusory self contrary to God.

So what is it that God decides?  He decides to be what He is, and to see what He is, always and everywhere.  And what is He?  He is Infinite perfection. .

This now is how to make Truth a thing of life, not of words, and in doing this the Holy Spirit joins you and insures your success.  See and hear and repeat perfection only, at all times, under all circumstances, and in spite of everything that appears to the contrary.  Make this resolve every morning when you first open your eyes and renew it every hour of the day.

Decide for God.  See perfection in yourself, in your friends, in your so-called enemy, in your affairs and in world affairs.

Decide for God.  Take your radical stand for the perfection of God, seeing everything and everybody as His presence and His presence alone.

Decide for God.  Look upon the world with God’s eyes and see it just as He sees it, and refuse to see it in any other way.  Stop a dozen times a day and renew the resolve and make sure that you are not repeating error or giving way to criticism.

Decide for God.  Take your radical stand for perfection and never stray from this perfect standard.  That’s what God would decide.  And because you are the Presence of God, that’s what God decides through you.  You will be seeing with God’s eyes, His perfect sight, and you will behold a perfect universe.  And you will know the joy of fulfilling your purpose.

Your purpose is to Be the Presence of God everywhere, and See the Presence of God everywhere, and now you can do that with absolutely certain success.

Much Love, :x

Ben
