Clarity Comes from Willingness

Holy Spirit: Clarity can never come from words. Clarity comes from willingness to receive and accept understanding. Please give Me your willingness now.

A picture or a diagram is useful only as a symbol to assist in your acceptance of this idea. The idea, however, is abstract and cannot be depicted in a symbol.  [See diagram below.]  Within this diagram, there is the level of conscious-self called Who I think I am. This is actually a collection of thoughts with applied meaning and judgments that define you and your world for you. This level of consciousness is pure illusion.

Below Who I think I am, there are varying levels of subconscious. These levels of subconscious feed the conscious with thoughts, concepts and beliefs, which the [seeming] conscious selects from and reacts to without awareness that it is doing such.

The first level of subconscious is the individual subconscious. This level of thought and belief is acquired within one or more lifetimes through the belief that one is an individual traveling through space and time. This level of subconscious is based upon illusion and in reaction to illusion as if it is reality. This is the subconscious that you seem to make in reaction to your experiences within the world. The primary belief on which this level is built and maintained is the belief that illusion is causative and you are the victim of the world you see.

The second level of the subconscious is beyond the belief in the individual and beyond the belief in space and time. [The ego] is the metaphysical belief in separation that is shared within the mind of the sleeping Son of God. This is the dreamer of the dream. This is the first level of illusion. This is the level at which healing must take place. This is the level of mind that seems to project space and time and the belief of individual bodies and souls. At this level, the Son of God is not separate although it is completely deluded into thinking it is, since it is fully focused on the level of experience above (conscious and individual subconscious).

What seems to be the lowest level of the subconscious is the Holy Spirit, which is not a low level of subconscious at all, but it is a level of subconscious that exists between the level of illusion and Reality or Truth. This is the level of subconscious that sends miracle impulses into the illusion of space and time in order to call the mind back to its Reality. This is awareness beyond the dreamer of the dream, but it is aware of both the dreamer and its dream. It is able to send messages to the dreamer by passing them through the dream itself. This is necessary, because the dreamer has forgotten that it is dreaming, and it is fully focused on the dream.

The Truth is everywhere, and so it is depicted around the diagram. The self, at all of its levels of consciousness, is capable of an awareness of or connection to Truth. This “opening” to Reality is depicted as the super-conscious, since it seems to bypass the levels of subconscious and reach directly into the experience of Truth.

Question: Thank you. This is clear. Now, how is this useful to us in our healing?

Answer: First of all, it shows that Reality isn’t what you have always thought it was, and you aren’t who you have always thought you are. It also shows that you are connected with your brother, even at the level of ego.

Question: Can we talk about that a bit more?

Answer: Ego exists at the level of mind. Individual subconscious and individual consciousness are not at the level of mind. Those levels are merely a projection of thoughts. The mind is literally projecting these thoughts and then experiencing them as if it is within the thought. But, as we have seen in the diagram, the level of mind is a different level and not within the thoughts that it projects.

The thoughts projected by the ego are like receiver and transmitter thoughts. They allow the ego to experience its own thoughts without being contained within them, just as a dreamer experiences a dream without actually being in the dream.

Question: Ok. Please continue with how this is helpful to us in our healing.

Answer: This [diagram] depicts Reality as all encompassing, and it depicts the ego as a small blip of error-thought within Reality. It shows that the error is focused on itself and has lost touch with Reality, but that Reality continues unencumbered by the error. You can see from this depiction that when the error is undone, it will just disappear and Reality will never have been affected, not even for an instant.

This depicts illusion as illusion and completely unnecessary to Truth, which means that it also shows you that you do not need to hold onto illusion unless it is your choice [to do so]. In other words, you are free.

The Holy Spirit is your bridge through the dream from the dream to Reality. Your way out of illusion is to deny the voice of delusion and [to] listen to the Voice that speaks for Truth.

Romans, Chapter 2

Judgment is a fantasy. It is like a game that you have played, but it means absolutely nothing at all. It is like a toy, a building block, that has given structure to your curious thought. It allowed you to create alleyways and byways, and to try this and to try that. But it was all within the field of fantasy, an amazing expression of curiosity. It was never anymore than that.

Imagine yourself with this idea, for this was the idea that you had:

What if nothing was as it is?

What if I could make something completely different,
and make it whatever I want?

What would that be like?

Just a curiosity . . . a daydream of exploration; it is really nothing at all, since the first question asked sets up an impossible hypothesis and one that can never be true.

In your freedom and the innocence of your curiosity, you set out to think a little more. You needed a tool to create an experience that would allow you to explore. The building block that you made was judgment, or decision, and this became a new “creative force.” It allowed for experience without creation. From judgment, experience was made. (verses 1- 4)

With judgment made to build experience, you needed something to judge. You needed a place to start making an experience of something different than it is. So you took what you had, an idea in the mind, and you applied judgment to that.

When judgment was applied, something new was made, so your experience began immediately. Suddenly before you were two options set. For the first time ever, you had a decision to make.

Your curiosity was nothing and did not mean a thing, so nothing at all had changed. This was an option given to consider. It offered an opportunity to laugh.

The second [option] is different and led deeper into the game. It was an opportunity to believe that the idea had become so, and nothing is as it was.

Struck by the second option, you became engrossed by it. You tossed the first option aside. Faced with reality and the option of fantasy, you chose to step into fantasy.

It was at this point that you began to forget, and you practiced the game of judgment again. But this time in error, you judged yourself for what wasn’t true, and you believed your judgment of yourself.

This is how you seemed to step into a script, then lose the way out again. But it is just a script, and nothing more at all. There is nothing at all to fear. (verses 5 – 11)

Judgment is the tool that built the world, and judgment keeps the experience alive. But judgment came from nothing but an impossible idea and the desire to think about it some more.

All judgment is fantasy. Judgment spins fantasy. Judgment is a way to explore. It is a game, a folly, and nothing more. It has no purpose and makes nothing real. Judgment is a web of meaningless thoughts given only the power of fantasy and absolutely nothing more. (verses 12 – 16)

The game you have made to test your curious thought is a game with rules and options. This gives you the ability to continue to make judgments and to continue to play the game. The rules and options are important [to the game] for another reason as well. The game that you play is a game of guilt and innocence, right and wrong, good and evil. To play the game in this way, there must be rules and options, and there needs to be winners and losers.

This is a game that lets you express the guilt you feel for playing the game, while mitigating your feeling of guilt at the same time.

In this way, the game is an attempt to be gentle with yourself. It is an expression of love. You believe that you are guilty, based on your own judgment of yourself for the idea and game that you made. But, you also know to be gentle with yourself, so both are in the game that you play. (verses 17 – 24)

The game you play has become like a trap. For within the rules and options, the good and the evil, the building block of judgment continues to be used. As your guilt is expressed and your desire to be gentle, the web of belief grows dense. That which is fantasy seems to be real. Its drama seems to be life.

This is how you’ve seemed to become that which you aren’t at all. None of it is true. None of it is you. And yet, you believe it is [true]. It is this we must look at and this we must let go because it is false and only believed to be true. (verses 28, 29)

Divine Law

Question: Peace Pilgrim said, “There is nothing that happens by chance in our universe. Everything unfolds according to higher laws—everything is regulated by divine order.”

What would you like to share regarding this thought?

Answer: The world and everything in it is illusion. But even the laws that govern illusion are divine laws, for the divine laws are the only laws that truly exist.

Divine laws are laws of thought and extension, or in the case of the world, thought and projection. In both cases, that of creation or illusion, the thought is the cause of the result of creation or illusion.

This concept is key, because this concept tells you what you Are. You are not a body within the world, because a body within the world is a projection of thought.

You are a thought, or an idea, created first within the Mind of God as an extension of God. In this way, you are pure, moving Love. You are eternal.

And within this thought or idea, there was another [thought] that was not blessed by God, because it is an impossible thought. It was the thought that the idea of God could become separate and independent of the Mind that thought it. This idea is impossible.

But, following divine law, a thought or idea that is given the power of belief seems to come into reality, even if the idea is an impossible idea that cannot be Truth. This seeming extension and birth of an impossible thought is called projection, because although it has the properties of extension and creation, it is not the same [since] it is a thought that cannot be true.

Still, it can be experienced. So the aspect of thought that thought its own idea experiences its idea until it gives up the idea as false and returns to the thoughts of Reality.

The [helpfulness in] understanding divine law is that you understand where the world you experience comes from. It comes from an impossible thought, and therefore it is illusion. And you can also recognize that you are not illusion, and so you must be far more than you seem to be as you sit in your chair within the world. You must be something real, something beyond illusion, because you have the experience of experience.

This is truth. The fact that you seem to experience and feel is evidence that you are real, but it does not mean that your current experience is your reality.

I ask you to open to that thought . . . that you are more than you thought yourself to be . . . that you are a thought of True Creation, which is the extension of the Mind of God. That is all you can ever be, because that is all that truly exists. Then you may begin to grasp that your current experience is like a dream and has no effects on your Reality.

A message from the Holy Spirit:

The Truth is true and cannot not be true. I am the Voice of Truth, and I am within you because the Truth is you. I am the Voice of your Truth, which is one with God’s. This must mean that you cannot die and cannot be limited. This must mean that your current experience cannot be all that you have to experience. This must mean that every limitation you sense is an illusion selected by you to serve a purpose that you want served. And this must mean that you are having an experience that you desired and designed yourself to have. This must also mean that you are free to experience that which you choose to experience, which means that you are free and there can be no limits.

What is it that you choose to experience now? Do you choose to experience bodies separate from you with separate wills and separate lives? Do you choose to fight them or resist them as you [protect] the will and life that you want to have?

If this is what you choose, then this is the experience given you. You cannot escape your own choice. You must experience that which you have [intended] to experience. It is a gift you have given to yourself.

Your own gift does not make you happy, because it is not an experience that is natural to your being. Division and conflict are unnatural to what you are. This is why you have another choice, a choice that cannot be taken away, because it is your reality and your nature. You have the choice to stop fighting for division by accepting that you do not will to fight.

Your True Will is peace, which is [revealed through] rest from the perception and belief in division. In order to truly rest from the perception and belief in division, you must also give up your desire to be divided from God. This means, you must let go of your wish to be separate from Him, which also means you must lay aside your will and surrender willingly and joyously to His.

As long as you choose to maintain your will, you choose to maintain the experience of separate wills. So when you find yourself experiencing this experience, know it is because you want it so, and rejoice in your freedom. Remember that when you want the experience of “mine” no longer, it must disappear into the willing and joyous acceptance of your Truth.

Discussion continued:

Question: Holy Spirit, in a message given yesterday, you said, “every limitation you sense is an illusion selected by you to serve a purpose that you want served. And this must mean that you are having an experience that you desired and designed yourself to have.”

We are confused by the idea that we have brought every experience we have to us. What about the horrible experiences that we seem to hate such as terminal illness, loss of a child, violence and extreme lack? What can you share about these experiences that will be helpful to us?

Answer: The question is a question of level confusion in which you have forgotten who you are. The idea of separation is a false idea, and so its effects must be false as well. This means that there are no individual decision-makers making choices for themselves. There is one deceived mind that seems to be dreaming a world of experiences that are really all one.

The aspect of mind that thinks it has separated from God has not. Therefore, every thought that follows that first error-thought is a mistaken thought. These thoughts are literally a mass of unreality experienced by a mind that chose to experience an experience other than reality. It is a wish to find out, “What if?”

This means, literally, nothing has happened at all, even though it seems that it has. Broken down into the simplest terms of all, there is no death and any suffering is only the illusion of suffering, since the Son of God cannot be hurt.

To understand this, you must pull yourself up from the individual you think you are and look at this world from another perspective. You are not the individual experiencing the dream. You are literally the dreamer of the dream.

Imagine a child playing with toys. The child imagines the toys to have experiences such as war, death and sorrows. You are not the toys; you are the child experiencing the game through the toys. Can you see how you cannot be hurt by anything that seems to happen within the game?

Now, let’s take that a step further. The decisions that are made regarding how the game will be played are not made at the level of toy; these decisions are made at the level of the child playing the game. The child is the victim and the victimizer, the sick one and the doctor, the hero and the one who seems to need to be saved. It all fits together as one game to satisfy the imagination of the child.

Question: This helps me to see how the individual is not responsible for the experience, and yet, the experience was chosen in free will. But how is it that we can seem to accept the atonement one at a time if we are only toys?

Answer: Again, the question is based on level confusion. You are not the toy. You are the child who is playing with the toy, making the experience and experiencing it. But this experience, even though it is not real, seems very real to the mind that dreamt it. So real in fact, that the child believes it is the many characters it has made.

An example that may help you to understand this is the example of multiple personalities in one body, which seems to be multiple personalities in one brain. Pull that up a level, and we are talking about multiple seemingly separate identities within one mind.

Since this mind believes in these separate identities, the mind must be addressed through its identities. But, the identities are not real, so they do not make the decision to wake up from a false identity. It is the mind, convinced through the identity, that lays the false identity aside. This seems to happen one identity at a time, but it is happening within one mind by one mind. So, what is actually happening is that false identities are being laid aside and the mind is literally waking up to its True Identity. The fog of falseness is clearing so that the Light that shines can be recognized.

Acts, Chapter 25

You do not know how to see, and so you are afraid of what you look at, when there is nothing there to fear. Let Me show you how to see, so you will not be afraid, and you will walk willingly along this path with Me.

The world is not real. It is like a play, with actors playing their roles. Only in the play of the world, the script has been forgotten, so that the play seems very real.

This play has many endings, like slits cut in the script, where one can choose to step out of the play. But if one believes the play and is focused on playing his role, he will miss his opportunities to step out.

As you read this story of Paul, see it as a script, just as your life is a script. Imagine yourself in the role of Paul. See what is playing out [around him]. Imagine yourself in that play.

As you play the role of Paul, you have many choices in how to play. You can become Paul completely and forget there is a script. You can see the Jews as your enemies, and struggle against them in your mind. If you choose this [way], you lose the awareness that it is a script, and you will forget to watch for the Light that signals the way [out of the play].

As you play the role of Paul, you have another choice as to how to play. You can look at the Romans and the Jews, and remember that they are all a part of you playing a role in a script. They may seem to have forgotten that they play only roles, but you can observe them and remember for them, so that you have the perspective of the script. (verses 1- 12)

When you remember the script, the drama is removed and replaced with a feeling of Love. For then you see that each player in the script has only one purpose for you. Each one is playing his role, so that the script may unfold and lead you to your place to step out. Each one is your brother and your savior engaged fully in helping you to find your slit of release. (verses 13 – 22)

As the script plays out, you may realize your joy and realize your gratitude for your brothers. For everything is working just as it is set to work to bring you to the place of release. (verses 23 – 27)

Luke, Chapter 9

Every one who reads My word, listens to My word and practices My word teaches My word. There can be no exception. You, who are reading this now, are My holy teacher.

Do not let this make you afraid. Do not worry about what is expected of you based on this “assignment.” Nothing is expected of you except one thing: that you listen to Me.

Do not worry where you are to go, what you are to do, what you are to say or to whom. Do not worry how you are to teach. I may have you teach without a single spoken word.

So, give no thought to the future. Give no thought to how you are to teach or when or where. Only give thought to listening to Me and practicing as I ask you to practice. In this way, you do teach. And the lesson [that] you teach is heard throughout the world (verses 1 – 6)

There is fear in your mind, and so it will bring doubt that you do as I ask you to do. It will bring doubt that you are the one I ask to do these things. Do not listen to your doubt. It is to you that I am speaking. You, who are reading these words, without exception for any reason . . . you are the one. (verses 7 – 9)

You do not understand the power in your mind. That power is unspeakable in your world, for it cannot be described. But know this: Every thought that you accept teaches within the mind of man. The single mind that you are is taught through the thoughts that you agree to think. And this is how you are to teach the world.

Although I may guide you to speak, it is not through your speaking that you teach. Although I may guide you to go or do, it is not through your going or doing that you teach. To speak to those or go here or do that [as a means for your teaching] would be to limit your teaching to a few. You, who are unlimited within your Self, cannot be limited by restrictions such as these. So, it must not be through your speaking or your going or your doing that you teach.

Every thought that you think is heard literally around the world. The consciousness of man is shaken by your every thought. And so it is through thought that you teach, no matter what you are saying or doing, and no matter where you are.

And so I say to you again, dear teacher: Listen to Me. Remember My words and practice all that I say. The fish that you eat feeds a multitude. (verses 10 – 17) . . .

Now, listen to the secret of teaching: A teacher is a student who practices all that he teaches, knowing fully that the message he shares is also for him.

In this way, anyone may be a teacher of My Word, [because] anyone may choose to be the student and the student is the teacher. For the Teacher comes through the student in order that the student may learn. (verses 46 – 50)

Always remember that as the teacher, you are the student, so all things are given to you for your learning. In this way, see all things as an opportunity to learn and to practice. Be grateful for all things. There is nothing that will be placed in your path that is not a Gift from Me. See it as your Gift, and you are blessed indeed. (verses 51 - 56)

To be My teacher, you must let My Word be first in your mind in all things. This is a perspective you shall hold. Through holding this perspective in willingness and trust, you shall know what to do through Me. (verses 57 – 62)

My Friend has Cancer

Question: Holy Spirit, my friend recently found out that he has cancer. Such a discovery is confusing. What would you share with him?

Answer: Form is not reality. The world is not real, and the life you seem to be living now is not your life. From within the dream, this is very difficult to accept and comprehend, for your experience tells you that the opposite is true. This is why I ask for faith. I ask you to believe Me over that which seems to be your experience.

Here is how you are to be helpful within the experience you find yourself in now.

First, find the willingness to put faith and trust in Me. Spend time in prayer and meditation seeking out the faith and trust and willingness that is a part of you. Focus only on that. These aspects of you are the foundation of your strength, and so you want to nurse them and exercise them now.

Secondly, you must remember your role within the world. You are not a separated son of God. You are one in mind with God. In this way, you are a servant of God’s in service to the sleeping Son. You are a communication device, not within the world of form, which is illusion, but within the mind of God and within the mind of the sleeping Son. As a communication device within the mind, you can be used as a bridge from the awakened mind of God to His sleeping Son. The way in which you serve this purpose is to let your mind be used by the Voice for God to communicate Its thoughts to the [sleeping] Son of God.

The cancer that you are experiencing now is frightening within experience, but focusing on a frightening experience spreads fear within the mind. This mind is beyond your mind, [just] as your reality is beyond you as you experience yourself. In loving service to the mind, put your cancer aside as meaningless. Focus on your willingness to be a communication device for Me. Let your mind be used by Me.

This does not mean that you need to ignore your doctors or your experience as it seems to unfold. Follow willingly the path as it unfolds knowing that your purpose is beyond your experience. Stay with your purpose within your experience, and the power of your communication is used by Me to heal the Son of God.

There will be times of doubt and fear, but you know that doubt and fear are of the ego. Remember your purpose and your faith, your willingness and your trust, and return your thoughts to Me.

I am grateful for your service. I am grateful to you in all things.

What is the Meaning of this Experience?

Question: Holy Spirit, a friend has asked, “What was the significance of a nine month experience of no thought, tremendous awareness, Love, Joy and Peace?” And, he wants to know if he will get back to that day-by-day experience within this lifetime.

My friend also told me that you told him to “ask Regina.” So, I know there must be something you want to share with both of us. What is your message?

Answer: Thinking is the choice not to accept no thought and all that seems to be the effect of no thought. When one chooses to think, one chooses to be a separate identity. Of course, this is never possible as there is no separate identity, but one chooses the experience and the belief in this possibility; and so, one chooses to know an illusory identity for itself.

Decisions are not final. Decisions are continuous. To maintain a state of no thought within illusion, one must maintain the decision not be an ego; that is, not to be a seeming separate identity. If the decision to be an ego or to have thought is picked up again, the experience is again enjoyed because the experience has again been requested.

This is what you are to do. First, remember that you are never guilty for any experience you choose to enjoy. If the experience of separateness is invited, then the experience of separateness may be enjoyed. Remember also that all experience is meaningless. One need not have the experience of oneness to be one. One is one, as that is the only Truth. So experience is nothing more and nothing less than experience with no affect on Reality.

If you are currently choosing the experience of separateness, you cannot fight yourself on that because the level at which the experience was chosen is a level beyond the one who seems to be experiencing it. The power of decision is beyond experience, although experience influences decision.

This does not mean, however, that the one who seems to be a point of experience is powerless or victim to the experience that is chosen. For the Holy Spirit has been given at the level of experience as well as at the level of decision. This means that the one within the dream can choose the Holy Sprit, and this one has the power and authority to make this choice consistently. When this choice is made, there may still be an experience of thought and separateness, but it will be an experience with the interpretation of oneness. The purpose of all things will be different, and the thought within the mind will reflect purpose.

When thought within the mind reflects the purpose of oneness, the mind is alert to its thought. Its experience becomes an influence on its decision, and the choice to surrender experience as a point of separateness can be made. When this decision is made, that aspect of separateness is taken out of the story of experience, and it rejoins the knowledge of mind where it is at.

The Course has stated that the only responsibility of the one within the dream is to accept the atonement for himself. The Course also says that the one atoning is not responsible for that which is atoned for. That which is atoned for is decision at the level of mind. You influence a reversal of decision through your acceptance of reversal, but you are not responsible for the reversal itself.

The Reality of Relationships

Special relationships are those relationships that you have invited into your life through mutual attraction. They may seem to be highly conflicted mixed with love and happiness or they may seem to be purely highly conflicted. Either way, they are not what they seem to be. Either way, they are relationships of spiritual mutual attraction, which makes them especially useful to you.

When “two souls” come together through spiritual mutual attraction, it is because they recognize that they are one. Within the dream and from the ego’s point of view, they come together to help each other forget this fact.

“Two souls” are working together in Love to help each other forget that their purpose is the same. They play the game of forgetting by seeming to have separate wills, when they share a purpose to forget they are one. This is a shared purpose of delusion, but the purpose is shared. Thus, the Son of God cannot and does not have separate wills.

From the Holy Spirit’s perspective, the same thing is happening. “Two souls” as projected aspects of one mind are being used to express free will. Joined in purpose, each gives the other the experience he seeks. Everything is perfect as asked.

Where the ego’s perception and the Holy Spirit’s perception differ is in the interpretation of the reality of the game. To the ego, the oneness is forgotten and the reality is the separateness that is expressed. To the Holy Spirit, the expression is only that, and the reality is the power that expresses it.

Within your experience, an experience of conflict is the clashing of two wills. But in reality it is an agreement within one mind to practice what isn’t real.

Healing is a decision within the mind to reverse the game that is played. Instead of using imagined conflict to play a game of unreality, the perspective of healing uses “conflict” to remember the game isn’t real.

“Two souls” seem separate only within illusion, so that the illusion of separation may be played. When “one soul” recognizes illusion as illusion, the memory of Truth is shared. Illusion cannot stand in the Light of Truth.

From your perspective within the world, separation seems very real. Conflict seems frightening. But the mind is capable of remembering the Truth by choosing not to believe the false.

When your brothers seem to enter into conflict with you, remember that conflict is an agreed-to game to teach what isn’t true. Look at your brother and accept that he is you teaching that he is not. Let yourself feel grateful for the Truth beyond illusion. In gratitude, the illusion disappears.

As you are healed, so is your brother. Bless you for your willingness to look beyond the game. Whenever there seems to be conflict, it is because you are choosing to teach what isn’t true. Remembering the Truth eradicates conflict, as conflict isn’t possible in Truth.

Question: Holy Spirit, thank you for showing me the reality of relationships. I want to use these relationships that were formed for separation as a path for healing. How can I do that?

Answer: Every relationship is a reflection of the mind. It is not a reflection of the individual mind, because the individual mind is illusion. It is a reflection of the unhealed ego mind. Every relationship within the world comes together as a reflection of the beliefs and pain that are in the mind. The relationships come together with the purpose of that mind, and they are a perfect reflection of its purpose.

To use the relationships that are made with the purpose of reinforcing separation . . . to use these relationships for healing, you must be willing to reverse the purpose that was given. You must be willing not to play the game you have agreed to play. You must be willing not to reinforce separation by believing in the conflict of wills.

When a brother comes to you and a “conflict” ensues, you must be willing to look in your mind. Do not look at form. It is playing out the agreement. The healing will occur in the mind.

Watch the conflict as it seems to play out. Do not expect it to change. Do not expect that your willingness to heal will result in the disappearance of conflict [in form]. But look at the conflict and accept it for what it is. It is a reflection of the purpose in the mind. Then decide right then, as you look right at it, that you choose a reversal of purpose. Instead of separation, you choose Truth. Hold that thought in your mind. Then as the conflict seems to continue, let it go right then as unreal. Everything you see, every thought you think, every desired reaction. Notice them, remember all that I’ve said, and let them wash away as unreal.

Remember Jesus as he stood before his accusers at the Sanhedrin. The accusers did not change their way. The experience was not seen as peaceful [in form]. But Jesus was at peace and Jesus was in Love, because Jesus knew in his mind that all that he saw and all he experienced was not Truth. It was unreal.

When you believe the conflict, you participate in it through thought. Watch your thoughts and do not participate out of faith that it isn’t real. This is how you use conflict to heal the mind. You let go of what isn’t, and accept what is. This is true forgiveness.

Question: I feel we are to continue our discussion on relationships. Tell me, if the “conflict” continues within the illusion of form, how is it that my brother is also healed as I let go of my belief in the experience?

Answer: This is where it becomes important for you to separate illusion from reality within the mind. If you look at a brother and a situation of conflict and ask, “Why isn’t he being healed too,” you believe the illusion. You are expecting form to change. This expectation is the expectation of bringing truth to illusion. You need to bring illusion to truth.

You are not healed through a peaceful, easy life that denies the ego. You are healed by facing the ego and denying it. You deny it while it is rearing its ugly head. You look right at the imagined monster and say, “I know you are not real, and so I will not react to you as if you are.”

As long as the Son of God is unhealed, the ego will show itself in the world. But this is perfect for healing, because you can learn who you are by recognizing the ego’s inability to harm your Truth. As you learn this lesson, it is transmitted into the mind that you share. Every aspect of the mind at some level becomes aware that the ego is not real. Every aspect must accept the message with you, because every aspect is you. But until the message is accepted fully, the ego will still show up in the world.

Question: Please talk to me about Holy Relationships.

Answer: All relationships are holy in the eyes of the Holy Spirit, because all relationships have the purpose of healing. All relationships become holy to you when you decide to share the Holy Spirit’s purpose. Some will continue to seem conflicted; these relationships are used to deny the reality of the ego. And some Holy Relationships will seem helpful; these are a means of hearing the Holy Spirit’s messages for you. But all relationships serve the same purpose. The only question is which purpose are you listening to?

Question: If love is giving my brother as he has asked, how am I loving him by giving peace when he seeks separation?

Answer: Your brother will see what he asks to see until he decides to see differently. If he chooses separation, he will experience separation as he chooses. But you must also remember that your brother shares a mind with you, and this mind [now chooses] healing. So when you give your brother healing, you are giving him what he really wants. When he is ready to see it, he will.

You cannot violate your brother’s free will. Every action you take is an action of Love, as every action is based on shared purpose. Through the decision of one mind, that shared purpose is being reversed. In joining the reversal, you are joining with the purpose of now and extending Love as it is requested.

Romans, Chapter 13

You are not in the world. I have told you this already. You experience the world, because you designed the world as an experience.

The world is an image in the mind, or better-said, a picture-thought within the thought of spirit. It is an experience, because it was designed as an experience, but it is not your reality. It is within you.

Everything that seems to be true about the world is a part of the experience you deemed to have. In this way, none of it is to be rejected. To reject an experience that you asked to have is to deny that you are the designer of the experience. This is to deny your truth. (verses 1 – 5)

This is how you are to look at the world:

It is an experience that you set up for your learning.

Live through the experience observing what it is. You will see what you set out to learn. You will see that Truth is perfect and True Desire is your Home. Your [curious] thought was just an idea, and you will easily relinquish the idea for Truth. You will be grateful that the Truth is always true. (verses 6, 7)

This is how you are to “live” your experience:

Remember that it isn’t true.

Remember it is an experience chosen for learning. Let your brother live his experience as he chooses. Forget not his Truth. Be grateful for it. Love his Truth, which is also you. Grant him his experience, and love him for that as well. He is learning what you have set out to learn. (verses 8 – 10)

Look on the world and remember what you have learned, even as the experience continues. Remember your place, which is to accept your lesson now, and be grateful that you see as you see.

You can stay in the world at the end of your learning to show your brothers what you’ve learned, but you are teaching no one except yourself and taking time to accept what you know.

When you have learned your lesson, you will let go of illusion, because you will have no need for it anymore. Until then, remember:

Everything you do, you do for yourself.

Learn what you have decided to learn. It is your lesson, designed and given for you. (verses 11 – 14)

Romans, Chapter 14

Judgment is the tool of illusion. Judgment was first used against yourself. From that, judgment seemed to spread with illusion, but since all illusion is within the mind, judgment could not spread anyplace else.

Whenever you seem to judge anything . . . any situation or any person that seems external to yourself . . . you are judging an illusion of thoughts within the mind. Therefore, you are continually judging yourself.

Since judgment is the building block of illusion, applying false meaning and making illusion seem real, judgment hides your truth and presents an illusion of you that isn’t real.

Each time you seem to judge, you are judging thoughts in your mind. In judging your thoughts, you judge yourself, and an illusion of you is made and upheld.

To know your Self, which is your true desire, you must lay judgment aside. Each judgment maintains the veil of illusion. Each judgment keeps illusion alive. (verses 1- 4)

Remember that nothing is as it seems within illusion. Illusion is within the mind that is you. It is thought up by you, for the purpose of having an experience. In that way, the only judgment that can be made is that it is what it is. The experience is the experience it was made to be. It is the perfect reflection of a wish. It is everything you asked to see.

In this way, you may be grateful for everything you have made. You asked a question, and you have discovered the answer. In itself, the answer to the question is perfect. (verses 5 – 8)

Rejoice when you look on the world, for it is the answer to the question you asked. You have your answer. You need not ask the question anymore. You need no longer be puzzled. You need not judge and apply meaning to the meaningless. You may put your curiosity to rest. You do not want Love different than it is, for as it is is Love, and Love is all you truly want. (verses 9 – 11)

And now, you see. (verse 12)

Now you may let go of your attachment to illusion. You may let go of the expression of self-will. You may surrender any hidden wish to see differently. The answer that you asked for has been given.

Be grateful for the answer. Surrender to it for what it is. It is not what you want; it is only what you wanted to see. Now that you’ve seen it, its purpose is done. (verses 13 – 18)

Now that your attachment is released, and your question has been answered, you can let go of the illusion you do not need. That is what you are doing now . . . you are letting go of what you no longer have purpose for.

Letting go of illusion is a glorious occasion. Celebrate that your lesson has been learned. As illusion presents itself within the mind that you are, smile at it. Remember the purpose that it had. And let it pass, realizing it has no purpose for you now. (verses 19 – 21)

Illusion is illusion. It is nothing more. It requires not your seriousness. It needs not your fear. It needs only to be observed and let go.

Participate in letting go, in actively releasing. See it, acknowledge it and let it go. Rejoice that you know your true Will. (verses 22, 23)

Romans, Chapter 4

O Holy Son of God, there is one thing that you must know. You are loved. You are deeply and truly, eternally treasured and loved.

This love that is extended you from God and through God is not extended you for what you do. Therefore, this love cannot be stopped because of what you do not. God’s love, extended to you, is eternal because God’s love, extended through you, is extended for what you are. There are no criteria on which this love is dependent. You are, and so you are loved, and this love is eternal. (verses 1 – 12)

Existence is love, and love is existence. You are loved because God created you existence. In creating you, God extended Himself. In extending His Truth, that which is Enrichment was enriched further. So in your existence, God Himself is enriched. This is why you are His Joy. You are His own enrichment. That which enriches God must be Enrichment Itself. (verses 13 – 15)

No part of you is absent from God’s enrichment, for every part of you exists. Every part of you is a part of God’s joy. Every part of you is welcome in the Heart and Smile of God, because every part of you is His Heart and His Smile, without exception and without restriction at all. (verses 16, 17)

God’s Love is His Promise to you, and God’s Love is eternal. It cannot be taken back, nor does He Will that it be taken back. God Himself is grateful to you for your existence, because you are the extension of His Own Love. In the extension of His Love, he finds His Glory, and He calls His Glory, you. (verses 18 – 25)

Romans, Chapter 5

God’s Love is not unknown to you, because God’s Love lies in you. You are God’s Love. God’s Love is your truth. Nothing can change this fact, because you are the extension of His Love. Through the extension of Love, you were created. You were created Love. Love is what you are. (verses 1 – 5)

God’s Truth has no end, and so it has not ended in you. You are the truth of God in your existence. There is no end to His Truth, so there is no end to you. You are forever blessed in the Heart of God, forever His Joy and His Smile. No sin shall cross your mind, because there is no sin in you. You are the perfect and sinless Son of God that lives within Him now and forever. (verses 6 – 11)

As I have told you, the world was made by guilt, but guilt is not sin. Guilt is only the belief in sin. But I come to you as God’s holy and ordained messenger to tell you that in His Eyes, you have not sinned. In His Knowledge, you have not moved from His Heart. In His Awareness, you remain forever a part of His Smile. (verses 1 – 14)

One thought of guilt was born into your mind through one judgment by you for what you did not do. This, then, is imagined guilt, multiplied in the world through your belief in what you made. But that which is untrue is nothing, and nothing multiplied by infinity still remains nothing. Therefore, all of the guilt that you perceive to be a part of the world and to be a part of you remains what it has always been . . . it remains nothing, multiplied as nothing, and so it is forever and under all circumstances nothing. (verses 15 – 17)

Nothing need not be atoned for, and nothing need not be forgiven, because it is nothing. It does not exist in the eyes of God. Nothing need be done to erase that which is nothing, because it is already nothing.

Therefore, through your being, you are atoned. Through your truth, you are forgiven. For never have you not been atoned and never have you not been forgiven, because never has a state existed that was anything but your perfection. (verses 18, 19)

The rules and options that you have made allow for your continued judgment, but your judgment is not God’s judgment. Therefore, your judgment is nothing real. And what is not real cannot be made real.

Your judgment is not real, and so your guilt is not real either. This is the truth that you deny. God asks you to accept your truth, as there is no fear in truth. Fear is the product of fantasy. (verses 20, 21)
